About the scheme

Our Bristol South scheme is run by Re:work, a Bristol charity established to relieve poverty, advance education and promote and provide training in South Bristol. Part of their work includes reusing materials, which is where the Community RePaint scheme fits in.

The scheme joined the network in 2009 and they collect full and part full containers from traders, retailers and manufacturers. The paint is available to individuals and groups for between £1-2 per litre.

To pick up paint for your project, simply visit the scheme during its opening hours.

Stock at Community RePaint schemes does vary throughout the year depending on what paint has recently been passed on for reuse by local businesses, traders and/or waste contractors in the area.

If there are specific types or colours of paint you are interested in purchasing for your project, we recommend contacting the scheme directly ahead of visiting, to find out if they have the paint you’re looking for in stock.

If you need larger quantities (over 60 litres) of paint for a community project, you can also order our remanufactured paint from us centrally. Find out more here.
