Dereham Community RePaint opened in November 2018. It is part of an enterprise that seeks to help vulnerable, marginalised, addicted and homeless people to rehabilitate themselves by providing accommodation, education, skills training, advice, support and practical work experience. The RePaint project is part of this picture and runs alongside ventures such as Men’s Shed and a sole trader offering practical work experience. We have strong links with other agencies working in this sector in the community. Currently, we collect paint from traders, housing associations and retailers. In the future, we hope to collect from householders, too.
