About the scheme
Recipro-UK began running Community RePaint Wirral in 2013 and they are now one of the largest schemes in the network, collecting over 104,000 litres of paint each year. Recipro-UK originally launched in 2008, as a free-to-use service for the construction industry to pass on surplus and reusable materials. Their Community RePaint scheme goes hand in hand with their core values.
All of the paint they stock is available to purchase for individuals, community groups and charities in need for £1 – £2 a litre.
They are also one of our remanufacturing centres that produce ReColour paint, aimed at those who would like more than 60litres of paint, which you can find more information about here.
They collect paint from traders, retailers, manufacturers and waste contractors in the region. If you fall under any of these categories, please contact the scheme with your paint offer and check the type of paint our schemes can accept here. They also collect part full and full containers of paint from households, via Household Waste Recycling Centres (HWRC) in the region. If you are a householder with paint that you’d like to be reused in your community, you can visit the household waste recycling centres below to drop off paint:
- Bidston HWRC, CH41 1EB

- Huyton HWRC, L36 6AD
