Community RePaint is pleased to be featured in The Happy News.

The Happy Newspaper celebrates all that is good in the world and is a platform that shares positive news and wonderful people – we were therefore delighted that they featured Community RePaint! They included us on their Instagram page, but you can check out the rest of the good news they have to share by visiting their website.

An article that features in the The Happy News that reads: Leftover paint put to good use. Of the 320 million litres of paint sold in the UK every year, some 50 million are waste - half of which is reusuable. It is estimate that households, on average, have 17 part-used pots tucked away (ready for 'touch-up' jobs, which may never even occur). Leftover paint needn't go to waste, though - Community RePaint is a network of 74 UK projects which together stop over 300000 litres per year going to landfill. By re-directing and re-manufacturing the paint donated to them (by manufacturers, wholesalers and consumers) they provide access to low-cost paint to low income families, community groups and charities.

If you would like to purchase affordable paint you can find your nearest scheme here. Have a big project? If you need more than 60 litres you can order our remanufactured paint ReColour here.
