Thanks to @recyclenow_uk r or sharing the best ways to dispose of paint - and first on the list? It's us! We want to see leftover paint on walls rather than going to waste.

They say: After you've dug out old paint from storage and spruced up your walls, here's what you can do with it:

✅ Unwanted paint can be donated to organisations such as @communityrepaint who redistribute it to others.

If your paint has gone bad, as is not reusable

✅ Harden it before taking to a Recycling Centre

Top tip: to harden paint, you can use a paint hardener, or add sawdust, sand or soil to the tin and leave the lid off until the paint becomes solid and dry. Then pierce the dried paint before taking it to to make sure it's fully hardened.

**We can add that cat litter is also a good way to harden gone off liquid paint. 🐈

We have loved hearing about this transformation project in Chichester using our ReColour remanufactured paint.

@chichesterboysclub received help from the team at @westsussexfire to transform the function room of their community centre.

Chichester Boys’ Club were chosen as the winner of the ‘Win a Crew’ competition organised by firefighters at Chichester Fire Station earlier in the year.

The 'RePaint' was a huge success and both Chichester Boys Club and Chichester Fire Station are excited to continue their partnership.

By using ReColour paint, they've not only transformed the space, but have also help on our mission to reduce paint waste!

1️⃣ Sort your paint cans: Set aside any empty or nearly empty cans for recycling. Drop off your empty cans at your local merchant and reduce waste easily. ♻️

2️⃣ Clean & organise your tools: Take a moment to clean your brushes, rollers, and other tools. Keeping them in good condition not only helps your projects but also makes your van feel more organised. 🧹

3️⃣ Donate leftover paint: Don't let leftover paint go to waste! Donate it through Community Repaint, where it will be redistributed to community projects helping to transform spaces. A quick clear-out can lead to positive change! 💚
