We are always looking for new ways to be sustainable as it is estimated that each year we use the equivalent of 1.6 earths to provide the resources we use and absorb our waste (Global Footprint Network). The Community RePaint network works to minimise the impact of our consumerism by preventing leftover paint going to waste, but there are many other small steps that we can take to reduce our impact on the planet and live more sustainably.
Below are a list of organisations and websites providing information on ways to be sustainable and guidance across many areas – from energy to food and farming. If you think we have missed anything or anyone, please contact us with details.
