We had a few things to go to the recycling centre, and managed to get a few part used tins of white paint from the @communityrepaint locker on site. Did you know that you can both donate and collect household paint at Horsham’s Hop Oast Recycling Centre? So if you’ve got a project underway and need some undercoat, or perhaps you bought some paint and then changed your mind on the colour… this is your solution! Please don’t let unused paint go to landfill, or clog up your home when it could be put to good use. Thank you @horshamdc and @wsrecycles for providing this valuable scheme!" We couldn't agree more! Instead of ending up as landfill, this paint is helping to brighten lives—356,800 lives in 2024, to be precise. Last year, we diverted 366,538 litres of paint from landfill, the equivalent of 990,500kg of CO2! We had an amazing time painting a brand new sign for Community RePaint Bristol! Our #bristol branch is run by the SOFA Project and they do an incredible job saving paint from going to waste. These signs were a mammoth undertaking! They were painted with 100% reclaimed paint (of course!) as well as reclaimed sheet material from @Bristol Wood Recycling Project.
