Repair & Share Foyle is a Community Interest Company based in Derry/Londonderry, founded in 2022 with one simple goal: to reduce waste and build a culture of sharing in our community. Powered by our amazing team of volunteers, we’re creating practical, sustainable solutions that make life easier for people while keeping resources in use and out of landfill.
From our Library of Things – where members can borrow useful items like gardening tools, power tools, events equipment, camping gear, and more – to our regular Repair Cafés and Fixing Factory , we’re all about giving items a second life. Whether you want to sit down with a fixer at a pop-up repair café or simply drop off a broken household electrical item at one of our repair slots, we’re here to help save money, reduce waste, and cut carbon.
Our newest venture is LEGENDERRY COLOURS , our paint reuse scheme, where leftover and reusable paint is rescued, checked, logged, and given new life. Paint is available to purchase from £2 per litre , making it an affordable option for individuals and community groups alike. If you have good-quality surplus paint, simply drop it off at our shop and help us keep usable paint out of landfill while brightening up our community.
Together, these projects build a circular economy right here in Derry – sharing instead of buying new, repairing instead of discarding, and rethinking waste as a valuable resource.
