We’re excited to announce a fantastic new addition to the Community RePaint network: InUse ReUse in Camberwell!

Based in the heart of Camberwell, this creative hub is passionate about sustainability and community. They’re not only helping to reduce waste by offering paint reuse, but they’re also championing wood reuse and upcycling, giving materials a second life and inspiring local creativity.

As InUse-ReUse founder, Dennis says: “Resources are not infinite. Reclaimed materials are going to benefit society at a fraction of the price.”

Here’s an interview with Dennis highlighting the benefits of paint reuse and material reuse more generally. Take a watch.

In Use ReUse works closely with community groups, artists, and local residents to provide affordable resources for projects. Mural Artist AlecLdn recently visited them, here’s a video of his experience:

Alec says ” Community RePaint is, for any artist, the best place to get your materials, the quality is the best quality you can get, the price is a fraction of what you’d spend in any shop, and it’s helping the planet.” He added, “ever since I started using preloved paint, I’ve never gone back.”

If you’re a community group, or creative project in South London or you’re simply looking to brighten up your home, visit InUse ReUse in Camberwell to browse their selection of preloved paint. Looking for paint near you? Search with your postcode here.
