Community RePaint Liskeard is run by Community Treasure Chest – Liskeard’s community recycling hub who are dedicated to reducing waste, promoting sustainability and specialise in helping those in need.
THEIR VISION: “We are the chest, you have the treasure. We can help other people by joining together.”
The scheme collects paint from retailers, traders, manufacturers.
They also accept donations of usable full and part tins of paint from individual householders. An appointment must be made before drop off. Please contact them to discuss reusing your paint.
Full and part tins of paint are available for individuals and groups to purchase for £2 per litre. To pick up paint for your project, simply visit the scheme during its opening hours.
They will consider providing paint at no cost to individual households, schools and community groups through their Home help scheme. Discount on paint is available to all the community through their membership scheme. Please see their website for details.
Stock at Community RePaint Liskeard does vary throughout the year depending on what paint has recently been passed on for reuse by local businesses, traders and/or waste contractors in the area.
If there are specific types or colours of paint you are interested in purchasing for your project, we recommend contacting the scheme directly ahead of visiting, to find out if they have the paint you’re looking for in stock.
