About the scheme

Managed by Derby Scrapstore, Community RePaint Derby has been part of the network since 2000, making it one of our oldest members. The majority of their paint comes from a local recycling centre where they collect paint which has been dropped off by local residents. They will also consider other paint available locally from traders, retailers and manufacturers.

Paint is available to Scrapstore members or by paying a one-time registration fee of £3. Most paint costs £2 per litre and there are some free paints and free drop cloths available with paint purchases. They have a range of colours and types of paint available.

To pick up paint for your project, simply visit during opening hours. Make sure to call first, as opening hours may vary because of volunteer availability.

Please note, if you are looking to pass on your leftover paint for reuse, Derby Scrapstore does not accept paint donations from householders. Instead, please use our householder drop-off point finder to find out if you have a Community RePaint householder paint drop-off point in your area.
