Community RePaint Moss Side, Manchester, joined the network in 2022. The scheme is part of the Boiler House, who aim to provide free and low-cost use of tools, equipment and workshop space, to act as a catalyst for people to reach their potential.
They collect full containers of paint from traders, retailers and manufacturers. The paint is available to individuals and groups are charged £2 per litre for full containers.
To pick up paint for your project, simply visit the scheme during its opening hours.
Stock at Community RePaint schemes does vary throughout the year depending on what paint has recently been passed on for reuse by local businesses, traders and/or waste contractors in the area.
If there are specific types or colours of paint you are interested in purchasing for your project, we recommend contacting the scheme directly ahead of visiting, to find out if they have the paint you’re looking for in stock.
