About the scheme
Our scheme in North Somerset is part of the James Scotts North Somerset Reuse Project and was set up in 2014. Working across the whole of North Somerset, the scheme collects paint from individuals, traders, retailers and manufacturers.
The paint is available for individuals and groups to purchase for £1.50-£2.50 per litre, depending on whether the container is open or unopened.
To pick up paint for your project, simply visit the scheme during its opening hours.
Stock at Community RePaint schemes does vary throughout the year depending on what paint has recently been passed on for reuse by local businesses, traders and/or waste contractors in the area.
If there are specific types or colours of paint you are interested in purchasing for your project, we recommend contacting the scheme directly ahead of visiting, to find out if they have the paint you’re looking for in stock.
If you need larger quantities (over 60 litres) of paint for a community project, you can also order our remanufactured paint from us centrally. Find out more here.
If you have paint to drop-off, please do not do so during the above ‘normal’ opening times and please don’t leave them outside the store when it’s unattended. Since COVID-19, the scheme has had to change how they operate. Therefore, please telephone or email us in the first instance and the scheme can arrange a mutually convenient time for you to do so.
