Our scheme in Thurrock, managed by TRUP – The Re-Use Partnership, joined the network in 2015. They collect part-full and full containers of paint from traders, retailers and manufacturers in the region. The scheme is unable to accept or collect paint from individuals.
Paint is available for individuals and groups to purchase for £2 per litre.
To pick up paint for your project, simply visit the scheme during its opening hours, or contact the scheme directly to find out more and arrange an appointment to pick up paint outside of opening hours.
Stock at Community RePaint schemes does vary throughout the year depending on what paint has recently been passed on for reuse by local businesses, traders and/or waste contractors in the area.
If there are specific types or colours of paint you are interested in purchasing for your project, we recommend contacting the scheme directly ahead of visiting, to find out if they have the paint you’re looking for in stock.
