December 2019 saw a move for our Cornwall scheme Prosperity Paint Hub from Par to Truro.
Carolyn, scheme manager, has moved the Cornwall Prosperity Paint Hub to a fantastic space in central Truro. The shop repurposes unused paint, preventing it from going to waste. It is also home to REMAKE:CORNWALL, where food, textiles and furniture (that has been beautifully upcycled) are donated and given back or sold to the community.
On the 18th of December, they hosted a shop opening, complete with mulled wine celebration, nibbles and Christmas Tree Decor Design. It looked like an exciting and fun evening for the staff at Prosperity Paint Hub, as well as the local community who came along to celebrate.
The shop front looks great, with creative paint artwork on the windows by Belinda Latimer Designs.
So far in 2019, our Cornwall scheme has redistributed over 1000 litres of paint. We’re wishing all the best for Prosperity Paint Hub and look forward to the scheme continuing their hard work.
If you’re in the area, give the shop a visit and pick up some paint to reuse!
