Community RePaint Liskeard is run by Community Treasure Chest – Liskeard’s community recycling hub who are dedicated to reducing waste, promoting sustainability and specialise in helping those in need.
THEIR VISION: “We are the chest, you have the treasure. We can help other people by joining together.”
The scheme collects paint from retailers, traders, manufacturers.
They also accept donations of usable full and part tins of paint from individual householders. An appointment must be made before drop off. Please contact them to discuss reusing your paint.
Full and part tins of paint are available for individuals and groups to purchase for £2 per litre. To pick up paint for your project, simply visit the scheme during its opening hours.
They will consider providing paint at no cost to individual households, schools and community groups through their Home help scheme. Discount on paint is available to all the community through their membership scheme. Please see their website for details.
Stock at Community RePaint Liskeard does vary throughout the year depending on what paint has recently been passed on for reuse by local businesses, traders and/or waste contractors in the area.

Our scheme in Shoreham is run by Biffa in partnership with West Sussex County Council and operated through the Recycling Centre. At this site West Sussex residents can drop off leftover paint from their home or pick up paint to reuse for free. Here’s how it works:

Residents with leftover paint from their home, can drop it off at Shoreham Recycling Centre. Local groups and individuals can then collect this paint for free to reuse in the community. You must have an appointment to visit this centre, this is an easy process that can be done on the West Sussex County Council website here.
