If you have leftover paint from your home you can use the drop-off point on-site at the Tyseley Household Recycling Centre to pass on your leftover paint to a Community RePaint scheme. This drop-off point is run by Veolia Environmental Services Birmingham.
Drop off leftover paint
If you live in Birmingham and you have leftover paint from your home, you can use the drop-off point on-site to pass your paint on for reuse. You can also drop off your paint at the following Birmingham household recycling centres:Sutton Coldfield, Perry Barr, Castle Bromwich and Kings Norton.
Book an appointment to drop off paint here and bring along proof of Birmingham residency (driving license, council tax or utility bill) when you visit the site. If you’re having trouble booking, please contact Veolia Birmingham directly using their online form: Contact Veolia Birmingham | Veolia Birmingham
As this drop-off point is run by the local authority, the site is unable to accept paint donations from businesses. If you are a trader, retailer, manufacturer or other business with leftover paint, click here to find out how you can donate your leftover paint for reuse through the Community RePaint network.
Please note, if you live outside of the Birmingham Council local authority area, you will not be eligible to access the site. If there is no drop-off point in your local authority area you will need to contact your local authority for guidance on what to do with your leftover paint. You can also adapt this template letter to encourage your local authority to consider collecting leftover paint for reuse at their sites.
