Wythenshawe

Our scheme in Wythenshawe is run by the Tree of Life Centre. They collect paint locally from traders, retailers and manufacturers.

Paint is available for individuals and groups to purchase for £1-2 per litre.

To pick up paint for your project, simply visit the scheme during its opening hours.

Stock at Community RePaint schemes does vary throughout the year depending on what paint has recently been passed on for reuse by local businesses, traders and/or waste contractors in the area.

Refurbs Flintshire

You can buy ReColour, our remanufactured paint, from Refurbs Flintshire. They are not a Community RePaint scheme so they do not collect or redistribute leftover paint from their local community. Instead, they partner with our remanufacturing centres in Cambridgeshire and on the Wirral to stock the ReColour paint that the centres produce. ReColour is an interior emulsion paint available in 18 colours plus white and magnolia.

Please contact Refurbs Flintshire for available colours and prices, as these may differ from other outlets and Community RePaint schemes.

Wirral

Recipro-UK began running Community RePaint Wirral in 2013 and they are now one of the largest schemes in the network, collecting over 104,000 litres of paint each year. Recipro-UK originally launched in 2008, as a free-to-use service for the construction industry to pass on surplus and reusable materials. Their Community RePaint scheme goes hand in hand with their core values.

All of the paint they stock is available to purchase for individuals, community groups and charities in need for £1 – £2 a litre.

They are also one of our remanufacturing centres that produce ReColour paint, aimed at those who would like more than 60litres of paint, which you can find more information about here.

They collect paint from traders, retailers, manufacturers and waste contractors in the region. They also collect part full and full containers of paint from households, via Household Waste Recycling Centres (HWRC) in the region.
