Proper Job, a community reuse centre, run our scheme in West Devon. They joined the network in 1996. Proper Job encourages the re-use of many different and useful items from reclaimed building materials, furniture, electrical, clothes, tools book and much more.
The scheme collects full containers of paint from traders, retailers and manufacturers in the region and also accepts donations of non-hazardous, usable paint from householders.
Paint is available for individuals and groups to purchase for £1 a litre for part tins or £2 per litre for new unused paint.

Our scheme in Thurrock, managed by TRUP – The Re-Use Partnership, joined the network in 2015. They collect part-full and full containers of paint from traders, retailers and manufacturers in the region. The scheme is unable to accept or collect paint from individuals.

Swindon Scrapstore run our scheme in Swindon. The scrapstore collects thousands of litres of leftover paint, varnishes and woodstains from traders, retailers and manufacturers.
To use the Community Repaint Scheme no membership or affiliations are required. Absolutely anyone can purchase their paint for £2 per litre.

Our scheme in Southwark is run by Veolia Environmental Services Southwark. It is operated through the local household waste recycling centre. At this site, you can drop off leftover paint from your home or collect paint for your home or local project.
Drop off leftover paint
If you live in Southwark and you have leftover paint from your home you can use the drop-off point on-site at Southwark Household Waste Recycling Centre to pass your leftover paint on for reuse. Groups and individuals will then be able to access the site to collect the paint and use it locally.
You do not need to book an appointment to use the Reuse and Recycling Centre unless you’re using a van or other vehicle designed to carry goods. Please click here to view the permit process for obtaining a Van permit if you do wish to visit the site by van.
As this drop-off point is run by the local authority, the site is unable to accept paint donations from businesses. Collect paint for your home or project
If you are an individual or group from the local area you can collect free paint from this scheme. We recommend contacting the local authority using the details given above or check their website for more details on the process you need to follow to get the paint.
Our scheme in Southampton is managed by Southampton City and Region Action to Combat Hardship (SCRATCH). SCRATCH provides services which relieve the effects of hardship, disadvantage and poverty for individuals and families living in Southampton and the surrounding area. They collect part-full and full containers of paint from traders, retailers and manufacturers in the region. They are unable to accept or collect paint from individuals.
This scheme is one of a few schemes who provide paint for free to referred clients or to people with proof of means tested benefits. The work mostly with their existing clients but you can contact the scheme to check your eligibility. If you are not eligible for free paint they also have a shop where paint can be purchased at a low cost. They also request a small donation for the paint from community groups.
At their main premises, if you are eligible paint can be viewed and collected by appointment. For further information contact the scheme on 023 8077 3132.

Our scheme in Richmond is run by the London Borough of Richmond Upon Thames. It is operated through the local household waste recycling centre. At this site, you can drop off leftover paint from your home or collect paint for your home or local project.
Drop off leftover paint
If you are a resident living within the Richmond Upon Thames area, and you have leftover paint from your home, you can use the drop-off point on-site to pass on your paint for reuse. Groups and individuals will then be able to access the site to collect the paint and use it locally.
A booking system is in place for Townmead Recycling Centre, enabling people to book their slot in advance and avoid lengthy queues. Visitors arriving without a booking will be turned away and not be allowed entry. Please note there is no pedestrian access to the site.
